As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t appear to have been programmed with that photography gene that every person with a social media presence seems to have nowadays. I’ve got my iPhone and an oldish digital Canon which work just fine…when I remember to use them.
So every few months I look back through my camera roll and delight in the fact that I did actually take pictures of my child and various other experiences, even if they are strangely out of focus and of questionable content.
Here are five of my favs from the last few months:

New Year’s Eve 2011: Mittens’ uncle comes up with the BEST ideas for cheap and easy games, though I’m not actually sure how this game worked.

January 2012: Good thing she likes these because they’re SO last season. And a little too pointy for my tastes.

February 2012: That sock puppet is named Princess Slipperfoot (or something to that degree). By the end of this particular day, Princess Covered-in-Popsicle-and-Banana-Shards was actually more appropriate.

February 2012: A whole new way to experience It’s A Small World. High-five, PowerCam app.

February 2012: Maybe my favorite Small World photo ever.
I did instagram those last two images but I love them so much that they earned a repost.
